Dancing with my muse

Catching up on my Rainbow Dreams homework tonight.

Isha Lerner's gorgeous Inner Child Cards remind us to honour the precious gift ofthe memory of the muse in our hearts. To open to the joy of artistic expression.

The music of the universe is constant and flowing. The keynote here is the potential of joy -- your joy and the joy of life.

So, how do I satisfy the muse in my heart?

Well that's easy. I write, and have three blogs to prove it. But the writing which makes my heart soar is our virtual circle, Rainbow Dreams. I love the fact that it has created a community of like-minded souls, who walk beside me on my journey, and I beside them on theirs.

I have found Chakradance, which unites three of my passions, my love of dance, my spirtual journey, and my calling as a facilitator of spirit.

My Goddess Workshops also indulge my inner-muse.

Oh what a blessed life I lead!

Healing our earth - July 17, 2007

Three times in one day the universe has bopped me over the head about healing our planet.

As mentioned in this week's Rainbow Dreams exercise I received two emails about a website called Fire the Grid asking us to bring together as many humans as possible, throughout the world from every corner of the globe, to simply sit and pray or meditate for one hour during that time.

Hopefully, with your help, we will amass a union of humans, such as the world has never seen. Loving humans with one intention - to heal our planet and awaken our souls to our true purpose… to become one with our Source of Light.

This planned sitting of the people of earth will demonstrate the love and faith we feel for the goodness of our world and her inhabitants. We are the catalyst to the healing of earth. A true believer has the power of ten fold, so if you only think you may believe, know that the faith of the others will boost your own faith and the power will be intensified. That is why we must all sit at the same time. We will feed each others power, strengthening the force of delivery and compounding the energy we send into the core of our home. Each and every one of us is important alone, but together we are a very powerful source of creative energy. Remember we are all a piece of God, and that energy of creation lives in all of us.

Then I pulled the Earth Child Card from Isha Lerner's Inner Child Cards. And when this card appears in your reading, powerful and divine influencees are gestating within your aura. Embrace them with an open mind. Remember how protected and nutured you are by invisible helpers, guides and teachers. You are never alone. Experience the universal harmony emanating from the Sun, the sacred nucleus of the solar system, and become the rhytmic beating of your how heart - the radiant centre of your body.

The ancient prhase "As above, so below" is true, for cosmic wisdom is encoded in your DNA cells. Most of all, let a childlike wonder fill your life. See with new eyes. Touch the world as if for the first time. Summon courage for the rites of initiation that lie ahead.

Blessed be.

Creating my bliss

I was watching The Secret this afternoon, and decided to pull one of my Inner Child Cards.

It is important to discover the center of gravity within the soul, that magical core that draws forth creative will.

This empowerment helps us build the world according to our deepest values and guiding principles.

Personal responsibility and constructive actions are beginning steps toward the foundation of a beautiful life for ourselves and others.

The gnome children portrayed in this card are busily creating a home with various tools and a cooperative spirit.

The foundation for this house is an apple tree, signifying the Tree of Life.

In Greek myth, the apple tree is a symbol of abundance.

A new consciousness is being built.

In Thailand, many people creating houses construct replicas of those structures, to be inhabited by spirits. These miniature models are called houses of spirits.

This ancient practice welcomes guardian angels into the households and fashions talismans for the overlighting power of universal love and truth.

From the awareness achieved with this practice, family members can develop inner strength and reverence for all life.

These gnomes are very focused. Their work is taken seriously. They hold a vision that they are in a process of manifesting.

The card asked me two questions:

  1. What in your life is being built?
  2. What inner vision do you carry?
Whatever it may be, concentration, responsibility, devotion, and diligence are the four corners I must construct in order to accomplish my true goals.

So, my answers to these questions are:

1. What in your life is being built?

I am building myself a new life. I am moving towards a career change - to work with people to help them achieve their dreams. By helping others create their world, I create mine. My new life brings abundance: abundance in health, wealth, well-being, love ...

2. What inner-vision do you carry?

I am a successful life coach, specialising on work/life balance and well-being. I help people reconnect with the sacredness of life, with the sacredness of being them. Spirituality is very important to me. I live in a beautiful home which I own. I own a coastal retreat where I hold workshops and retreats. I am a successful and published author and travel the world running my workshops and speaking at conferences. I am a humanitarian, working to empower women around the world. I have a successful life in love as well, with a man who loves, respects and supports me, and I he.

Why don't you answer these two questions yourself ...
  1. What in your life is being built?
  2. What inner vision do you carry?

Salute!

The grand and dramatic salute pictured in this card is a tribute to the active force of the mind that has found unity and success.

Each child holds a cup, representing the heart, and a sword, representing the mind force.

The destination has been reached, and the search for new clarity is complete.

There is focus and a unified vision.

There is responsibility, loyalty, and friendship.

At this level of exalted awareness the individual has merged with their ideal of community.

From this union, the mission to serve the planets is possible.

The heightened mind, symbolised by the swords, is infused with light.

The mind is brilliant and full triumph.

I have reached a pinnacle.

Foresight and inspiration have embraced my mind, and it is as if warm sunlight is evaporating the waters of negative thinking and fear.

Salute!

I sit up straight, close my eyes, and let the light of the solar fire become an elixir of wisdom.

A golden aura of divine protection surrounds me.

Now is the time to serve humanity with clear vision.

A gateway to new awareness

I'm enjoying exploring my inner-child cards again.

I pulled a card this evening to give me guidance in my meditation ~ and I drew the nine of wands ~ oh how I love these cards ....

There are times in life when we are shown the gateway to new awareness that is beyond our current boundaries or resistance.

This new awareness offers another view of the world that can recapture, or open us to, the magical garden wisdom that lives within us.

It is there that we may learn to master our abilities and gifts.

When the fairy on this card is ready to open the garden gate, she will discover a world of herbs, flowers, and trees that await her arrival.

They will revitalise and heal her. There is an abundance of energy available to her.

The butterflies on the gatepost are the aspects of her soul that are ready for metamorphosis.

She hears the garden calling, and so she peeks.

This is a wondrous time in your life when you may be exploring the secret passages of your spirit or completing an important evolutionary cycle.

There is a rich and flowering place within you.

You must journey there.

Close your eyes and envision yourself entering the colorful and fragrant gardens of your mind and heart.

I believe in miracles

I pulled a card for myself from the Inner Child Cards. And I pulled the Nine of Hearts: this is my reading ...

A well, vessel, or cauldron can hold sacred waters for rituals, blessings, purifications, and healings. Water is the essence of all life.

The answer to the question of whether the cup is half full or half empty depends on how life is being viewed at a given moment.

This question is being asked of you now. Along with this question, you may be granted a wish.

In the traditional tarot, the Nine of Hearts is often considered the wish card. Your wish should reflect what you feel you deserve in life, where your heart is, and how much you love yourself.

Wishing is a way to observe how well you are seeking your individual fulfillment. Can you accept a happy life?

This is not an easy question to answer, and much care should go into this inquiry. Sometimes wounds of the past must be healed before you can grow into your wish. Forgiveness of self and others is one step toward greater fulfillment.

The mermaid in this card is holding her vessel toward the waterfall to be filled. She has reached a point of acceptance in her life and is ready to have her cup run over.

Hold your own cup high toward the waters of life and dare to fill it completely. Imagine the possibility of unlimited love, joy, and wisdom pouring into your heart.

This may be it time for spiritual initiation or purification in your life.

Believe in miracles, and follow your dreams.

Uncovering a sense of truth

This week's Finding Water challenge asks how we stay grounded and connected.

Sometimes I find this easier said than done. I have a job which often leaves me feeling anxious and stressed out -- drained of all creativity.

Last year, after a health scare, I realised I needed to find my centre once again. I started by blogging on 12 April 2006. This was the reawakening of my spiritual journey.

From here I started spiritual counselling, with a wise soul, who guided me to look deep within myself. After working with my inner-child and some 'rude' awakenings, I started to reconnect with the Goddess. She'd always been with me, laying dormant in my belly waiting for the right time to emerge.

After attending a Goddess Workshop held by Deb and Lucy, I found the Goddess soaring within my being. I felt like a butterfly finding freedom from its cocoon. I was thirsty for knowledge -- wanting to become more creative and to explore my full potential.

My journey of discovery took me too www.goddess.com.au, where I met the beautiful Anita Ryan-Revel, and I became a Goddess Playshop facilitator, learning about the goddesses and the chakras. By this time I knew I was on the right path.

Then I discovered ChakraDance, it was the next natural progression for me ~ I am now on the path to become an ChakraDance instructor.

So what do I do to stay grounded and calm? That's easy ... I meditate every day to restore my energy levels and reinvigorate my spirit. I know it works, because when I don't my life turns topsy-turvey.

Because I find it difficult to 'still' my mind, I used guided meditations to help me achieve my state of bliss. I focus on each chakra and evoke the goddess. I also use aromatherapy to aid me in my journey. I often use my chakra base spray to help me refocus when faced with a challenging situation.

I also try to walk around the lake every day -- it helps clear my head and gives both Trinity and me some much needed exercise!

So there you have it, I stay grounded by:

  • daily meditation
  • working with the goddess and the chakras
  • aromatherapy
  • walking in nature
  • blogging

Savouring the moment

I came across a challenge my friend Gabby has been undertaking called Finding Water ... blogging the art of perseverence

Today's challenge is Shared Beauty - what sorts of beauty have I savoured today?

Well, there is so much around me, I feel truly blessed. I live on a picturesque lake, with the Brindabella Mountains towering in the background.

My inner child led the way as I danced through my week, making me feel playful. I decided to let this lighthearted energy infuse my work, and I chose to take a little time off for amusement.

In Darwin I had a meeting cancelled at the last minute and I found I had time on my hands. This was an opportunity for me to explore. So I headed into town to purchase more appropriate footware for my adventure and ended up buying a pair of Croc ballet slippers.

After spending a couple of hours exploring Darwin's city, just walking around exploring gallerties, interesting buildings and chatting to people, I headed back to Sky City where I was staying and headed out on to Minindil beach which I had to myself.

I walked the entire length of the beach without meeting a soul, and I listened. Listened to the water lapping at the shores, to the wind playing in the grass, the sand crunching beneath my bare feet and to the birds swooping and playing in the sky above me.

Later that evening I headed out to a restaurant for dinner, and witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets out over the ocean. Living on the east-coast of Australia, this was indeed a rare treat for me.

This unexpected time-out helped me to refocus on what's really imporant in my life, and reminded me not to get too caught up at work.

In our goal-oriented world, we can sometimes feel guilty when we take time off for our own entertainment, but our inner child knows it is necessary for our ideal balance and growth. So I gave myself permission to play, and I know that I was doing something essential for my wellbeing.

Children laugh more often each day than adults do. As adults, we can ride the waves of good-feeling laughter to help us deal easily and effectively with challenges. Then, we might enjoy interactions with others more as we shift our idea that life is stressful to the idea that life is a game.

This simple mental shift can lighten and ease our load and give us a more positive outlook on life.

There are many ways we can stir playfulness within us today. We can watch children playing, or better yet, join them. We can share funny stories with those around us and enjoy some laughter.

When we let our inner child come out to play today, we see new ways to bring out the joy in life.
