Any advice?

As you all know, I've been doing a lot of work on the feminine side of spirituality. However one of our soul sisters has asked me about the masculine side.

Good question.

I know that the solar plexus is our masculine energy, and all about the anima and animus ... however her question stumped me.

Anyone know of any good books or websites that will help me to explore this?

But happy weekend to you!

I think the world is awash with "masculine" spirituality. The feminie side has been subjugated for centuries.

I don't have much interest in exploring more about masculine spirituality - it just doesn't resonate. Guess this is a long winded way of saying, "I got nothin'!"

Blessed be! Life is good.

I have been having a hard time with this as well. My circle last year wanted to get more in tune with masculine energies. We pretty much just researched a few of our fave Celtic Gods. I found that just researching them a little bit more and getting to know them helped me. I still have more that I want to do with the Gods though so let me know if you find a good resource!

Dear goddesses, are you like artemis who wanted nothing to do with men because she had enough masculine energy within herself?

To me there's no spirituality if there's no two sides - both feminine and masculine. it's the meeting of the two, a kind of fusion that takes us to spirituality... Masculine energy is the energy that make things happen, that cuts through, discriminate, understands, values... in its shadow form, it judges, distorts, or blames...

not sure it is what you're looking for but it might be a start... "Phallos, Sacred images of the masculine" by Eugene Monick,
ISBN 0-919123-26-0.

otherwise, books by Gabrielle Roth of the 5Rhythms will certainly speak about masculine energy.

Let me know if I've replied just outside the remit of your question...
